Business succession at Schäfer Consult

For over 25 years, Schäfer Consult has been synonymous with expert engineering and consulting services, collaborative partnerships, and sustainable solutions for traffic surface pavements and bridge deck surfacing. Many of the trusting business relationships that define our firm today were established during this time and have grown together with us.

Looking to the future, Schäfer Consult will be handed over to the next generation as part of a carefully planned business succession plan. Effective July 1, 2026, Mr. André Wegert will assume responsibility for the engineering firm and continue to lead Schäfer Consult as an independent engineering firm under its established name.

This succession stands for continuity and reliability. Proven values, high professional standards, and trusting collaboration with our clients and business partners remain the foundation of our work.

We are particularly pleased that Mr. Volker Schäfer, Dipl.-Ing., will continue to serve in an advisory capacity, drawing on his many years of experience as a publicly appointed and sworn expert. In this way, valuable knowledge is preserved and, at the same time, passed on to the next generation.
